Why Eat 4 Cloves of Garlic a Day?

Garlic is celebrated for its health benefits and culinary versatility, and its medicinal properties have been studied for centuries. While research has examined various forms of garlic—such as dehydrated, extract, oil, or tincture—this discussion focuses specifically on fresh garlic, whether raw or cooked, as commonly used in food.

An intriguing study conducted by Scotland’s University of Stirling has highlighted an unexpected benefit of garlic consumption. The research found that men who consume garlic are perceived as more attractive by women, thanks to changes in body odor resulting from garlic consumption.

In the study, male volunteers were divided into three groups: one group consumed raw garlic, another took garlic capsules, and the third group abstained from garlic. After exercising, participants collected their sweat on towels, which were then evaluated by a panel of women for attractiveness, masculinity, and overall appeal.
