DIY Cleaning Paste Guide
This paste, effective against both limescale and grease, is ideal for ovens, kitchen tiles, and cookware. You’ll need six tablespoons of concentrated dish soap, three tablespoons each of powdered toilet cleaner and baking soda, and one tablespoon of white wine vinegar.
Prepare a disposable or recycled container, such as a cleaned plastic ricotta tub, to mix your paste.
- Combine three tablespoons of baking soda with three tablespoons of powdered toilet cleaner in the container.
- Add six tablespoons of dishwashing liquid. Mix well with a wooden spoon until smooth.
- Incorporate the tablespoon of white wine vinegar and mix thoroughly.

Transfer the mixture to a convenient container for easy access. Wear gloves and apply the paste with a sponge to the affected surfaces.
For optimal results, let the paste sit for a few minutes before wiping it off with a clean cloth and water. For heavy limescale on taps, a longer application might be needed, and a toothbrush can help with precision cleaning.
